General Characteristics

Bronze alloy CuNi3Si (CW112C) is a high-performance copper-nickel-silicon alloy known for its excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance, and high electrical conductivity. It is widely used in electrical, marine, and mechanical engineering applications.

Chemical Composition (%)

The main elements in the composition of CuNi3Si alloy:

  • Copper (Cu): Balance
  • Nickel (Ni): 2.50 – 3.50
  • Silicon (Si): 0.50 – 1.20
  • Iron (Fe): ≤ 0.30
  • Manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.50
  • Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.01
  • Zinc (Zn): ≤ 0.20

Mechanical Properties

  • Hardness: 150-250 HB
  • Tensile strength: up to 650 MPa
  • Yield strength: up to 300 MPa
