FAQ

Stainless steel is resistant to corrosion due to chromium (at least 10.5%), and heat-resistant steel is resistant to high temperatures (up to 1000°C and above). The former is used where protection from moisture and chemicals is important, the latter - in conditions of extreme heating.

Nickel, molybdenum, vanadium, tungsten and titanium are added to heat-resistant steel. These elements provide strength when heated, resistance to deformation and minimize scale formation.

Stainless steel is widely used in everyday life, medicine and the food industry due to its resistance to corrosion, hygiene and ease of cleaning. It retains its properties up to temperatures of about 500°C.

The quality and price of stainless and heat-resistant steels depend on the composition and production technologies. A reliable supplier guarantees that the steel meets the declared characteristics and is safe to operate.
