Hardened steel is in demand today in many industries and manufacturing. It belongs to the category of temperable steels, whose properties have been artificially improved after being manufactured using modern technologies. One of such technologies and methods is nitriding.

Why nitrided steel is needed Modern production of machine tools, machines and other complex equipment requires materials and raw materials to meet rather stringent conditions. Operating conditions can be very intense with high stresses, vibrations, temperature differences, exposure to aggressive environments. At the same time, all elements and parts of machines and mechanisms must be as reliable, strong and durable as possible, retaining their parameters and properties for an extremely long time. In many ways, this is possible by changing the properties of materials and “giving” them special characteristics. Wear resistance, strength, minimum friction and other necessary parameters can be obtained by alloying alloy compositions. If ready-made raw materials are already available, nitriding technology can be used. Its advantages include: · universality of application; · high speed of detail processing; · improved resistance to wear; practically complete absence of deformation of the part after processing. After nitriding, 1.8515 steel wheels or any other types of rolled products do not require any additional processing.
