RAEX grades 400 and 500 hardenable wear steel is an innovative material with impressive performance properties that allow it to be used in quite difficult operating conditions. The high wear resistance of the material makes it possible to manufacture products of small mass, almost any shape and with a very long service life, at significantly lower costs.

Special Properties

RAEX 400 and 500 are characterized by high strength, hardness and resistance to surface pressure, which ensures high wear resistance become.

The material lends itself well to bending, cutting and welding, but not designed for heat treatment.

During production, rolled products may be subjected to skin training, which involves cold pressing sheet. This allows you to remove residual stresses and give the sheet maximum flatness. In addition, the procedure simplifies the process of cutting and welding.
