General Characteristics

Bronze alloy CuZn9Pb2 (UNS C31400) is a copper-zinc alloy with added lead, providing excellent machinability, high wear resistance, and good mechanical properties. It is widely used in mechanical engineering, electrical applications, and the production of fittings.

• Zinc (Zn): 7.0 – 10.0
• Lead (Pb): 1.5 – 2.5
• Iron (Fe): ≤ 0.10

• Nickel (Ni): ≤ 0.30

Mechanical Properties

• Hardness: 80-120 HB
• Tensile Strength: up to 350 MPa
• Yield Strength: up to 140 MPa
• Elongation: 20-35%
