Sheet steel 1.2842 / 9G2F is a high-quality carbon tool steel that combines high hardness, wear resistance, and excellent mechanical properties. It is well-suited for heat treatment and is widely used in the production of cutting and stamping tools.

  • Hardness: 190–240 HB (annealed), up to 62 HRC (hardened)
  • Thickness: from 1 mm to 50 mm
  • Yield strength: 1000–1200 MPa
  • Tensile strength: 1400–1800 MPa
  • Elongation: 8–12%

  • Carbon (C): 0.85 – 1.00%
  • Silicon (Si): 0.10 – 0.40%
  • Manganese (Mn): 1.80 – 2.20%
  • Chromium (Cr): 0.30 – 0.50%

  • Phosphorus (P): ≤0.025%
