K the main performance characteristics that a sheet of alloy steel A / SA 387 Gr. 11Cl. 2, can be attributed:
– quite a high level operating temperature, reaching +595 degrees;
– high corrosion resistance;
– good weldability, without special restrictions;
– sufficiently high level of tear resistance 515- 690 megapascals;
– minimum yield strength at level 310-690 megapascals;
– minimum elongation 18%;
– density level 7.83 grams per centimeter cubic;
– high resistance to mechanical stress.
Scope
The price quite acceptable for sheet products and specific performance properties make it very popular in the production of containers operated under high pressure.
