Description

Structural alloyed steel C60

High-strength alloyed structural steel grade C60 refers to chromium-molybdenum alloys. It is made from unalloyed steels, by hardening, for further hardening and tempering, as well as induction hardening. Complies with European standard EN10083.

The material is supplied as:

– Hot formed semi-finished products.

– Bars.

– Rods.

– Hot-rolled sheets and strips.

– Forgings.

Special properties

impact toughness. Fully retains its mechanical properties at a working temperature of 450-500 degrees.

The material has limited weldability. Manual arc welding or automatic submerged arc welding can be used.

Applications

Structural materials represented by C60 steel grades are used in the production of billets, fasteners, flanges, disks and rotors of steam turbines, parts of various machines.
