Aluminized (aluminized) steel in coils and sheets

Aluminized steel coil and sheet is made by coating rolled steel with a layer of aluminum alloy by hot dipping. Aluminized steel sheet is a very convincing alternative to galvanized metal, offering more impressive performance properties.

Special properties

Rolled steel can be covered with:

– aluminum-silicon alloy, silicon content 5-11%. The layer thickness can be up to 25 microns. Such aluminized steel in coil or sheet form has significant heat resistance and corrosion resistance at high temperatures, but is poorly resistant to atmospheric corrosion;

– pure aluminium, without alloying additives. It is used in the manufacture of products that require resistance to atmospheric corrosion.

Applications

Rolled aluminized steel is widely used in the production of tableware, garden tools, automobile, exhaust pipes, kitchen ovens, water heaters, roofing materials, and so on.
