This technology is based on electrochemical redox processes occurring in an electrolyte when exposed to an electric current.
Advantages of galvanized steel
The advantages of galvanized steel coating with zinc include:
– Low cost of the process itself. Therefore, the price of galvanizing is always affordable.
– Rational consumption of zinc.
– Uniform coating, no drops and streaks.
– The smoothness of the coating that does not require additional processing.
Galvanized products are reliably protected from corrosive effects, which significantly extends their service life and significantly reduces the cost of their maintenance or replacement.
Applications
Galvanized steel can be bought for the production of roofing materials, corrugated board, household appliances , technological equipment for the food industry. Galvanization is also successfully used in the ship, aircraft and automotive industries.
