High-quality alloy of steel and aluminum, as well as products based on them, can always be found at A-Sintez, whose specialists will answer any questions, advise and help make a choice.
Aluminum designation EN AW 7020 indicates a high-strength grade suitable for the toughest applications. We offer you a special heat-treated aluminum alloy, which contains magnesium alloying additives.
This is a fairly strong aluminum alloy, the main feature of which experts consider resistance to “metal alloy fatigue”. Even after decades of operation, products based on these alloys retain their operating parameters and performance characteristics.
Features
The alloy is easy to process, but it has some restrictions on the use of welding and soldering. In some cases, the manufacturer performs a protective anodizing of the surface for maximum durability.
The advantages of 7020 aluminum alloys include:
· resistance to mechanical stress;
corrosion resistance;
· metal fatigue resistance;
· ease of molding and processing;
· available cost.
Aluminum alloys of this brand are used in the aerospace industry, in the automotive industry, and in shipbuilding. They are used to make grates and elements of heat exchangers, make motorcycle frames, and sheets are even used to produce armored structural elements.
