HEA / IPBI wide flange I-beams

The HEA / IPBI I-beam is a hot-rolled shaped section made of regular grade carbon steel. The beam has an H-shaped section, with parallel shelves.

Rolled products are delivered in accordance with the European standard DIN 1025-2, with a tolerance of EN 10034 .

Special Features

You can buy an I-beam with shelves, with a width of 100 to 300 millimeters, with a product height of 100 to 1000 millimeters. In values up to 300 millimeters, the height of the profile roughly corresponds to the width of the shelf.

The presence of wide flanges makes the beam very resistant to significant torsion and bending loads. At the same time, the rigidity and strength of an I-beam are several times higher than other profile products with the same cross-sectional area.

The price for an I-beam is relatively affordable, which, combined with high performance, explains its great demand.

Applications

The presented I-beam dimensions allow it to be used in a fairly wide range. Rolled products are used as load-bearing structures, in the construction of civil and industrial facilities, in bridge building, various guides, and so on.
