Indaten® is a brand of weathering steel (also known as COR-TEN steel), developed and manufactured by ArcelorMittal. Unlike standard carbon steels, Indaten® forms a dense oxide film — patina — on its surface, which protects the metal from further atmospheric corrosion.

The patina develops naturally when exposed to moisture and oxygen, creating a decorative rust-like appearance that also serves as a protective layer. This eliminates the need for additional painting or coating.
