Steel hexagon 1.7147 / 20MnCr5 / 18ХГ is an alloyed case-hardening steel with high wear resistance, strength, and impact toughness. Due to its excellent mechanical properties, it is widely used in the production of components operating under high loads.

Chemical Composition

• C (Carbon): 0.17-0.22%
• Si (Silicon): ≤ 0.40%
• Mn (Manganese): 1.10-1.40%
• P (Phosphorus): ≤ 0.025%
• S (Sulfur): ≤ 0.035%
• Cr (Chromium): 1.00-1.30%

Mechanical Properties

• Tensile Strength (MPa): 800-1100
• Hardness (HB): 150-220 (up to 60 HRC after case hardening)
• High impact toughness
