HEAA / IPBII wide flange I-beams
Wide-shelf I-beam HEAA / IPBII is made in full compliance with the European standard DIN 1025-2, with a tolerance according to EN 10034, by hot rolling.
According to the standard, an I-beam has an H-shaped profile, with parallel flanges, with a width of 100 up to 300 millimeters, with a product height of 100 to 1000 millimeters. For the production of rolled steel, ordinary grades are used.
Special properties
The H-shape of the profile allows it to cope well with vertical and horizontal loads, while maintaining high rigidity and strength. With a relatively small weight, the I-beam significantly exceeds, in these indicators, beams with a different type of profile.
The affordable cost of an I-beam is explained by an inexpensive production method and the use of cheap steel grades.
Applications
The I-beam’s excellent performance makes it highly sought after. This is facilitated by the low price for an I-beam.
The profile is widely used in load-bearing structures of civil, industrial and engineering structures, as well as structural elements of various machines and mechanisms.
