General Characteristics

Steel 1.3355 (P18) is a high-speed tool steel known for its excellent hardness, wear resistance, and thermal stability. It is widely used in the manufacturing of cutting tools and industrial applications requiring high-speed performance and durability.

• Tungsten (W): 17.50 – 19.00

• Chromium (Cr): 3.80 – 4.50
• Vanadium (V): 0.90 – 1.30
• Manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.40
• Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.40
• Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.030
• Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.030

Mechanical Properties

• Hardness after heat treatment: 63-66 HRC
• Tensile strength: up to 2500 MPa
• Yield strength: up to 2200 MPa
